Roger A. Strickland JR.


Roger A. Strickland Jr. is a Group Director and acts as an iGaming Consultant. Roger consults companies setting up in Malta to make the right choices, assists them with licensing and regulatory requirements as well as the setting up of their respective Malta-based operations.

Holding an Honours Degree in Management from the University of Malta, Roger has proven to be key to the smooth incorporation of iGaming companies. With a wide network of contacts and know-how within the online iGaming industry, Roger brings with him a wealth of experience and is strategic in bringing key stakeholders together.

He is currently Honorary Consul for the Philippines to Malta and also holds directorship positions for Malta Sotheby’s International Realty – where he is involved in the brokering of some of Malta’s most valued and unique luxury properties. Roger is also involved in the CSB Groups relocation division assisting with the promotion of Malta’s unique residency & tax solutions, among which the Malta Individual Investor Programme (IIP), Global Residence Programme (GRP), Highly Qualified Persons Rules (HQP) and The Residence Programme (TRP).

David Flynn

CEO - Group Operations

Management Executive with over 15 years iGaming experience.

With a background in Physics and Mathematics, Mr. Flynn started his career in Gaming when, in 2003, he took up the role of Customer Service Manager at, managing the rapid growth of the business, later as VP of Ongame Network, the creation of the largest B2B Poker Network. The company was sold in December 2005 to Bwin, for €475m. Since then Mr. Flynn has held numerous Roles including Head of Operations, at Microgaming, CEO at NYX Interactive, later merged with NextGen Gaming to form NYX Gaming Group, recently sold to Scientific Games for €500m. He currently holds the position of CEO – Operations at Jackpotjoy Group, based in Malta.

Henric Andersson

Henric is Co-Founder of SuprNation, a company he founded with Joakim Stockman in 2016. SuprNation launched its first casino site in August the same year and its 2nd casino in Sept 2017. SuprNation is all about innovation and won the EGR award Innovation of the year across all verticals at the awards in June 2018. SuprNation is a new generation mobile and gamification focused casino operator targeting primarily Scandinavia and Northern Europe and has seen great success since launch.

Henric has been in the industry since 2008, in various C-level Marketing and Product focused roles. Prior to founding SuprNation, Henric served as COO of Betit Group between 2013-2015 and before that at Betsson Group between 2008-2013 as Chief Product Officer and Director of Business Operations.

Alexander Stevendahl

Chief Executive Officer

Alexander Stevendahl started his career in iGaming at a young age, establishing the Swedish affiliate website with another two partners. In 2011 they moved to Malta and established, with Stevendahl becoming its CEO in 2013. Under his guidance, Videoslots grew from a team of five people to over 130 members of staff, becoming the world’s biggest online casino with over 2700 games including video slots, video poker, roulette and others.

Melvin Ritsema

Involved in iGaming since 2006.

Worked for the biggest poker affiliate at the time Initially responsible for the Dutch market, but later part of a core group that took care of the Pokerschool's 19 languages.

Past 4,5 years been with Royal Panda, just after the website launched, being one of the main drivers behind the website. From the start I’ve set up projects and teams for our Casino, content, CRM, Promotions, (paid) social media, all on and off-site marketing, business intelligence, and I am responsible for setting up new languages and launching new products, negotiating with software and game providers.

My name is Matthew Gauci. I have six years of experience working in the iGaming industry and thirteen years working in technology operations. I work as NetEnt’s NOC Manager improving our products and services for our customers by managing a team responsible for the monitoring and incident handling or NetEnt’s products and infrastructure ensuring service availability and fast service restoration.

Prior venturing in the iGaming industry was NOC shift leader at Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA), the agency responsibility for the Maltese Government IT where I attended to daily operations of the MITA’s data centers and corporate services.

Peter is an experienced professional in Business Operations with a background in the financial industry and over 11 years in the gaming sector in Malta.

His expertise lies with operational effectiveness as well as strategic positioning for competitive advantage. and working with companies like Unibet and
the Betclic Everest group, he has experience of both setting up and running large Customer Service departments.

Peter was Director of Customer Services & Risk, Fraud & Payments at Betclic Everest Group between 2011-2018, and is currently working as a Consultant.


Allister Bajada

Co Founder

I've worked in the digital space for 12 years, 7 of which within the igaming industry. I was fortunate enough to work for companies of different sizes ranging from established renown brands to helping build a number of start-ups.

In 2006 whilst reading for my Masters in International Marketing Management, I was working with Betfair at the time when they had just set up shop in Malta, Mosta office, starting from CS and Fraud. In 2010 I went on to get a real taste of digital media when I joined Uniblue, a Swedish software utilities company, as a Media buyer where I stayed for 5 years and in the process managing different acquisition functions including Affiliates & SEM.

In 2013 I joined Scandinavian gaming giants Betsson group taking ownership of their sportsbook affiliate program for a short period before becoming Group Affiliate director for the next 4 years.

Since 2017 I co-founded a marketing consultancy that goes by the name of Webveto which is an agency focused on helping brands with creating and executing acquisition strategies.

Tobias Regnestam

About 5 years ago I left the cold darkness in the north (also known as Sweden). Up until that point, I worked with everything from running a clothing company to CEO-assistant for a construction company and at Stockholm University. Joining the iGaming industry I found what I´d been looking for. I started at Casumo as an Ambassador I then became an Affiliate manager. Affiliate management combined quite a few of my passions and turned out to be for me. After about 2.5 years I got persuaded to move over to Mr Green and within short I got entrusted the role as Head of Affiliation with the ability to build a new team. Thinking macro while having a foot in Affiliation unlocked even more for me and currently I'm the COO - Chief of happiness, at Cashmio where I´m doing exactly that. Spreading Happiness within the company, working with affiliation as well as building the business.

I’ve been working for The Stars Group (formerly PokerStars) for around nine years, initially as a Support Agent, before relocating from Italy to Malta to join the Marketing department. In January, 2017 I entered the world of Social Media as a Team Manager for all licensed markets, and later in the year became Head of Social Media where I’m responsible for the growth and maintenance of the PokerStars social platforms, as well as managing all resources, budget, market procedures, and external suppliers / agencies. Social Media is a fast-paced, perennially evolving industry and I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of both reaching and engaging with our audience in this way, while continually seeking new and creative ways in which to showcase our product.

Peter Nikashin

Peter Nikashin has learnt his trade travelling around the world but settled in Malta in the late 1990s. Having started his career in IT and digital design, he soon moved into the gambling sector where he has accumulated expertise over more than 15 years at the likes of Betsson Group, Interwetten and Tipico. He now manages a growing marketing team at casino supplier Play’n GO where he holds the role of Marketing Manager.

Nikashin specialises in marketing and online commerce, with hands-on experience in developing sales automation tools, CRM, online media and conversion funnels. He is passionate about applied tactical psychology and its relationship with technology and machine-learning, and this has led to massive value being added for his companies and their clients.

Rory Cartwright

Danijela Slisko

Danijela's first contact with gamblers started while she was working in a betting shop. Ever since then she has interacted with customers and VIPs as a Marketing Analyst and currently as a Head of VIP.

Antonello Cuschieri

Head of Risk and Fraud

Antonello Cuschieri, Head of Risk and Fraud at Greentube Malta Limited, has over 11 years experience in the igaming industry mostly specialising in fraud prevention and risk mitigation.

Having focused his studies on Computing and Information Security, Antonello managed to blend academic knowledge and industry experience which formed him as an expert in the field of Risk and Fraud.

Antonello heads the team responsible for online fraud and risk management in all regulated jurisdictions in which Greentube operates B2C platforms. He is also involved in policy setting within the Compliance and AML Department, ensuring that the company documents and follows compliant policies in such areas.

Justin Psaila


Justin moved to online gaming in 2007 after working in audit and obtaining his ACCA degree. He has previously worked in the finance department for Betsson Group prior to joining Gaming Innovation Group in 2015 as CFO. His main accomplishments is taking both Betsson’s and GiG’s finance team from being a team of 3-5 people to organised and structured teams capable of handling the complexity and the rigorousness of being a stock listed entity.

Justin is Maltese and has recently turned thirty-four. His interest and hobbies revolve around the football and futsal world where he is a crazy AC Milan fan and is an assistant coach of a Maltese futsal team playing in the local futsal league.

Wendy Zitzman has worked in a fraud, payments and compliance capacity across the digital sector since early 2003. In 2008 she made the switch into iGaming and since then, has worked in several international companies.

Having amassed a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Fraud & Payments, AML and a variety of operational and compliance related areas, Wendy is now with Playpearls – an innovative Social Casino Platform, with a wide range of exciting games.

My name is Janice, 25, and I have been working in the iGaming industry for the past 7 years.

The iGaming career commenced 7 years ago, when I worked for 2 years with an iGaming Platform, where I developed a strong background.
Following that, I enrolled myself in the hands-on environment i.e. Online Game Presenter, and presented in both English and Italian - Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Texas Hold'em with different companies.

Being an individual with strong attention-to-detail, I had an opportunity to become a Leading Game Instructor with a well-esteemed worldwide known iGaming company, and I took on the role for 2 and a half years.

I am a very analytical individual, and integrity forms a big part of my work ethic. I currently work as a Dealer Operations Manager with Authentic Gaming Ltd, where I am involving myself in several different projects related also to Product and Project Management.

Svetlana Birca

Director of Operations

Ms Svetlana Birca joined Dragonara Gaming Limited in 2010 and has since then formed part of the top management of the company. Her role as Director of Operations within Malta’s premier land-based casino is that of overseeing the complete operations of the casino floor including Live Tables, Slots, Poker, Live Casino, VIPs and all other aspects of the day-to-day running of the Dragonara Casino. Ms Svetlana is also responsible for the implementation of the Human Resources policy of the company including recruitment and retention and is a key liaison with the Malta Gaming Authority.

Ms Birca has been working in the Casino sector for over 15 years having risen through the ranks within Century Casinos (Listed on NASDAQ – CNTY) where she started as a trainee and ended up as a Manager within the company. In her role today Ms Birca is entrusted with creating the right working environment for hundreds of employees within the Casino and to ensure that employees attain their full potential in their role. Moreover, Ms Birca has a key role in the top management of the company wherein she shapes alongside the other Directors of the company the future strategic thrust of the company as well as ensuring that the objectives are met through the implementation of well-planned tasks.

Neil Bergin

Neil Bergin heads up the Compliance department of Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), one of the largest and most innovative tech companies and platform providers on Malta. He has been involved in the gambling world for over 10 years covering both land based casinos and online. He started out in the online side of things with Full Tilt Poker before eventually moving to Malta to take on his career in compliance with Betclic Everest Group. After 3.5 years of service and having built up a new department Neil moved on to the next chapter in his career at GiG.

Nicky Tombs

Business Partner

A CIMA qualified accountant with over 20 years experience in a variety of organisations, Nicky has been a senior member of the Finance Team at Mr Green for the past two years. She ensures that Financial Control and awareness are prevalent at Mr Green by providing on-going budgetary and cost support and ROI understanding.

Nicky provides an interface between the Finance Department and the rest of the company and is an integrated part of the Operations Management Team.

Prior to moving to Malta in 2016, Nicky worked in the UK at the Natural Environmental Research Council as Business Partner for various areas of the organisation. This included making successful applications for funds to the British Government, allowing British Antarctic Survey to continue and improve operations in the Antarctic.

Loraine Schoevers (born in 1960 in Vlissingen, the Netherlands) holds a Masters Degree in General Management from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, and a Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management from the School of Hotel and Hospitality Management in The Hague. Even though she is a Dutch Citizen, she lived most of her life abroad, most of which in Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles, where she worked for 5 years at the Curaçao World Trade Centre in the position of Marketing Manager and 6 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, first as Managing Consultant and at a later stage as Manager within the Tax and Legal Services Department. In 2003 she moved to the Internet Gaming Industry and became Director of Curacao Hosting Services Ltd, rendering financial services to the software licensees of Microgaming Software Services. In September 2007 Loraine moved to Malta where she heads up Prima Networks Limited, a company that licenses Microgaming software to regulated markets.

Alessandra Farina

Regional Business Manager and Deputy Commercial Director

Alessandra started her career in Gaming 12 years ago, initially involved in various consulting projects , than within the firm where she covered different role both in landbased and online sector.
After 3 years in the landbased commercial operations of Lottomatica Group – the largest Gaming company in Italy, she entered the iGaming division initially as CRM and Marketing manager, then as Head of Casino and Soft Games covering the overall Product, Commercial and Brand strategy of the business.

Almost 2 years ago, she joined NetEnt as Regional Business Manager where she could further develop her B2B / Supplier expertise. After 6 months she obtained the role of Deputy Chief Commercial Officer supporting the CCO in the global commercial strategic plan and commercial organization set-up (including sizing of the account management team, customer allocation, RBMs recruiting).

Niklas Forsberg

Niklas Forsberg has been fascinated with the gaming industry ever since the early 2000’s when the interest in poker was in focus. With a great interest in the marketing aspect, specifically the method of bringing traffic to iGaming sites, together with a strong background in sales it was only natural for Niklas to join the sales team at Raketech soon after having started working for the award-winning affiliate company in 2015.

Samuel Barrett started his gaming career over eight years ago at Clarion Events. Within three years, he became head of sales and was managing the biggest gaming show in the industry. He has since held management roles at payments businesses including ClickandBuy, Skrill (Paysafe Group) and FX brokerage World First. Today, he works as Director of Gaming at payments company Trustly, where he helps gaming operators attract new customers and optimize conversion through Trustly's online banking e-payment services. Samuel is originally from the UK but is now based in sunny Sliema, Malta.

Claudia is an experienced HR professional who is enthusiast about people management and development. Her main passion is providing HR strategies & solutions by helping business, executives and managers in building their people operations through technology, compliance and leadership. Claudia is currently leading the HR team at Gaming Innovation Group a tech company employing over 700 employees and aimed to open up iGaming to make it fair & fun for all.

Prior to moving to Malta, Claudia held HR management positions in the Italian fashion and luxury industry (LVMH Group).

Claudia holds a Law Master Degree from University of Turin with a specialization in European employment law.

In her free time Claudia enjoys travel and discover new cultures and countries, happily married she also loves mentoring up Managers sharing her knowledge and passion for people diversity. She still currently enjoys actively participating in charity events for non-profit organizations.

Rianne has an extensive HR background with expertise in strategic as well as operational HR. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, she worked in different industries garnering knowledge in recruitment, learning and development, performance and talent management, and organisation development. Rianne also had the opportunity to work on culture change initiatives as well as business improvement projects.

With respect to the gaming industry, she believes that nurturing talent is critical to support the business gain competitive advantage within a global and dynamic environment. Her passion lies in assisting organisations build the right workforce required for vision execution.

Rianne is happy to work within this exciting industry where no day is the same in an ever-changing landscape. She currently works at Betsson Group, one of the largest companies in the sector where she constantly interacts with experienced professionals who are passionate in what they do and collaborate together for success.


Lieven Delarue

Having raked up over 15 years of experience in the online gaming industry, Lieven shaped his career into becoming a payments expert. He cycled through various key payments & fraud positions at leading gaming operators such as Unibet and Betsson Group, but equally worked for start-ups to set up their payments infrastructure from scratch. It allows for a healthy mix of a hands-on approach and a professional business mindset. Lieven recently joined the promising company SuprNation as Payments Director to help them face the various challenges and exciting opportunities in the evolving payments world.

Robert is the CFO of Hero Gaming. He has been in the gaming business for over 12 years in various positions. He previously was CFO of Betit Operations Limited/ Robert has worked in the United Kingdom for a period of 13 years. Whilst in the UK he qualified as Chartered Accountant.

Sam Barrett

Director of Gaming

Samuel Barrett started his gaming career over eight years ago at Clarion Events. Within three years, he became head of sales and was managing the biggest gaming show in the industry. He has since held management roles at payments businesses including ClickandBuy, Skrill (Paysafe Group) and FX brokerage World First. Today, he works as Director of Gaming at payments company Trustly, where he helps gaming operators attract new customers and optimize conversion through Trustly's online banking e-payment services. Samuel is originally from the UK but is now based in sunny Sliema, Malta.
