iGaming Idol is proud to announce NetEnt as Sponsor for its 2017 edition

September 06 2017

For the second year running, NetEnt will again be extending its support to the much-anticipated iGaming Idol event, but not only. We are proud to announce that NetEnt has now entered into a 2-year agreement with iGaming Idol, further enhancing this valuable collaboration, which culminates into this unique event. iGaming Idol highlights the finest aspects of our forward-thinking industry, while recognising the outstanding and highest achieving individuals who have excelled within the sector. Happening on the 26th September 2017 at The Hilton, Malta, iGaming Idol is once again set to be a resounding success.

Besides becoming the new benchmark for the Gaming Awards Industry, iGaming Idol’s ultimate goal is that of supporting employers’ strategies which promote employee wellbeing and result in healthier workplace environments, while also offering new talent, an attractive career within the gaming industry.

For this year’s edition, the gaming giant, NetEnt, has not only massively increased its support for iGaming Idol – what has prompted this move? NetEnt’s Marketing Manager, Trevor Westacott commented by saying, “Following the experience of last year’s edition, we have been in discussions with iGaming Idol. Our goal was to find an innovative way for us to showcase our focus on developing people and acknowledging talent. We sought a way to express our passion for people and through this collaboration that enables creativity and innovation in a fun modern way, I believe we have found that. We are very excited to get to work and meet all the great iGaming stars in Malta.”

Having extended its support for the second year running, it is clearly apparent that NetEnt believes that iGaming Idol is a great initiative. In this regard Mr Westacott said, “iGaming Idol recognises talent, you cannot ‘buy’ these awards you have to put in the work. In such a fast-paced industry, where employees make all the difference, it is important to recognise the people who are making it all happen in an honest and open manner.”

Being a best in class employer through their ‘Better Mondays’ initiatives has been one of NetEnt’s primary goals for 2017. The company strives to provide an environment that is not only empowering but also fun and challenging. Mr Westacott commented further by saying, “We believe that iGaming Idol offers us the opportunity to showcase our talents and achievements, whilst contributing to the recognition of great employees, not only at NetEnt but in the industry as a whole.”

With iGaming Idol happening in just a few weeks’ time, what can we expect from this partnership, with NetEnt as stage sponsor? “At NetEnt we are known amongst many other things for organising great events, our creative excellence and we bring 21 years of digital entertainment experience. You can expect us to bring elements to the show that are so synonymous with our brand. Creativity, innovation and fun,” concluded Mr Westacott.

Organising such a monumental event such as iGaming Idol, requires great resources. It is only through the key support of companies such as NetEnt, whose consistent belief in the iGaming Idol project, ensure that this year’s edition will be bigger, better and even more of an outstanding success…Even more recognition for the up and coming stars of the industry, even more top-notch, fun entertainment and even more charity, with ten percent of all ticket sales donated to the Malta Community Chest Fund.
