The Judges

Lorena Torregrosa Auzmendi, Managing Director, Luckia Entertainment
There are two fantastic judges (one still to be confirmed) behind the Customer Service Idol category – Hawar Akman, the Head of Customer Operations for NetEnt, and Lorena Torregrosa Auzmendi, the Managing Director from Luckia Entertainment. So, what are they looking for from the winner of this award?
“The first thing I want to highlight is quite how important customer service is in this industry,” says Hawar. “Even though it isn’t always prioritised, I believe it to be critical to the functioning of the company, and vital for the success of the business.”
Lorena agrees, and states that “the winning Customer Support Idol is the person who really believes good customer service can make a professional career and who sees customer services not just as a Cost Unit or Trouble-Shooting department, but as a Business Unit. I think this will be an excellent reward from anyone who enjoys working in customer services, and who understands their role and wants to take it to the next level.”

Hawar explains that he’s looking for a winner who understands the business perspective and always has the customer perspective in mind. A customer services role is really about pushing the business forward to meet the customer’s needs today and tomorrow. You need to be passionate and proud of what you do, and to know the business you’re working for inside out.
Finally, Lorena stresses quite how important it is for keen applicants to sign up to the competition. “This is a truly fantastic event that will bring together people from across the industry with the purpose of highlighting its future leaders. It will give visibility to the human aspect of our companies and I can’t wait to see who comes forward. Whatever the result is, enjoy the experience!”
